Goals for 2026
New year's resolutions are common. So common in fact, that we seem to overlook them or scoff at those who make them, saying to ourselves “yeah right, they won't follow through on that.” And, of course, a lot of times, that's true. I'll admit, I started this blog in January of 2024, posted twice, and then continued on with my life. While not quite a “resolution,” the start of this blog definitely came at a time when I thought I would try something new and believed I could follow through on it.
However, I don't believe there is anything inherently wrong resolutions. Taking time at the start of a new year to review and recast can actually provide us with wisdom in our own lives. Review enables us to implement hindsight, consider our lives from a big-picture perspective, and if we're honest with ourselves, we can constructively critique the parts that need to change. And resolutions allow us to tap into hope. Hope for a healthier diet,
